Join the Mineola Area Chamber of Commerce Costume Contest!

We have a little Halloween surprise for you! The Mineola Chamber of Commerce is giving everyone an early treat by making our Downtown Trunk or Treat Costume Contest COMPLETELY FREE! That's right, no entry fee!

We want everyone to have a chance to show off their Halloween spirit, so grab your costumes and get ready to compete for some great prizes!

Here's the catch: We're only accepting the first 10 registrations in EACH age category, so don't wait to sign up!

🏆 Costume Contest: 6:30 PM

Get ready for a spook-tacular evening of family fun in Downtown Mineola! The Spooky Nights Mini Train is rolling into Iron Horse Square for a night of Halloween excitement!

There were many family activities and fun moments at NatureFest at the Mineola Nature Preserve today. Pickles the kid goat followed his owner around like a puppy. The Creature Teacher brought many interesting animals. The Parks Board mural in the restroom wall by Lauren Pitre was dedicated with Mayor Jayne Lankford and City Council and Nathan Witt of Wood County Walls (as well as her family) attending. Children competed in doughnut and cookie eating contests. And visitors admired the handiwork of the Wood County Master Gardeners in the Wildscape Gatden.
