Name that tune, we have a winner!

It only took a few notes! Congratulations to Mrs. Sullivan, our lucky Caller #5, who correctly identified “All of Me” by John Legend and scored herself a Starbucks gift card!

A little music, a little friendly competition, and a whole lot of fun! Sometimes, it's the little moments that bring the biggest smiles to our school day! Way to go, Mrs. Sullivan! Enjoy that Starbucks treat!

How many pennies can your boat hold before it sinks?

Our little engineers in Piglet’s Build a Boat Room put their creativity, problem-solving skills, and engineering abilities to the test during Literacy Night

Students designed and built their own boats, then watched to see just how many pennies their creations could hold before sinking! A big congratulations to our winners, whose boats held the most pennies!

What a fun way to explore science, practice critical thinking, and discover that learning can be quite the adventure!

Once Upon a Time in the Hundred Acre Wood…

There were stories to discover, pages to turn, imaginations to inspire, and enough smiles to fill Pooh Bear’s honey pot! Our little readers took a trip to the Hundred Acre Wood for a Winnie the Pooh-inspired Literacy Night, where every story was an adventure and every page brought a little more magic!

Just like Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and their friends, we discovered that some of the greatest adventures begin with friendship, imagination, and a good book!

At Hills Elementary, we believe that little readers grow into BIG dreamers, and there’s nothing sweeter than watching our students discover the joy of reading alongside the people they love most.

A great BIG, Tigger-sized THANK YOU to our families, teachers, and staff for making Literacy Night as sweet as hunny! ❤️💛
