MPD Honors Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and intervention in the fight against breast cancer.
Throughout October 2026, the Minneapolis Police Department is proud to participate in the Pink Patch Project. MPD officers can wear a special pink MPD patch on each sleeve of their uniform shirt, sweatshirt, and jacket in place of the traditional MPD patch.
This pink patch carries a powerful message: awareness matters, early detection matters and every effort to support the fight against breast cancer matters.
Join us this October in spreading awareness and supporting those affected by breast cancer. 🎀
