Each month, we highlight a library professional from a different area of the field. From academic, public, special, and school libraries to library support organizations, we hope to offer a glimpse into the meaningful work that helps libraries thrive across the Minitex-supported region.

This month, we are highlighting Rebekah Orensten, School Library Media Specialist at Obama Middle School in St. Paul. Saint Paul Public Schools SPPS

All of these amazing resources don't even scratch the surface of the value libraries provide. In addition to a seemingly endless amount of books, libraries provide access to newspapers, computer, wi-fi, puzzles, and ebooks.

Minitex is proud to work with libraries to provide patrons access to almost every collection/book shelf in Minnesota through our interlibrary loan service, MNLINK, and to millions of articles and research//information databses through our eLibrary Minnesota (ELM) service.

Make sure to visit your local library to check out the unique value they provide.
