We are excited to offer Washburn County senior men the opportunity to gather and learn from area experts at 12:30 PM on the second Friday of each month. The inaugural briefing will take place Friday, November 13th at the Spooner Senior Wellness Center and feature Amos Melton from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Mr. Melton will share about his experience living a real outdoor life style while growing up and describe how he still implements such practices today. 📢 PUBLIC NOTICE – VILLAGE OF MINONG

The Village Board has adopted Ordinance No. 2026-01, establishing permit requirements and regulations for door-to-door solicitation within the Village.

Commercial solicitors must obtain a permit from the Village Clerk-Treasurer before conducting solicitation activities.

Solicitors must respect posted “No Solicitation” signs, may only operate between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and must leave when requested.

Political, religious, and nonprofit canvassing activities are exempt from the permit requirement but must follow the ordinance's conduct regulations.

History is being made! It's taken 44 years, but the Milwaukee Brewers are headed back to the World Series!⚾ Congratulations, Brew Crew!

The Brewers will take on either the Cleveland Guardians or Tampa Bay Rays. The first game of the World Series is set for October 23.

Do you remember the only other time the Brewers were in the World Series?

Back on October 10, 1982, Milwaukee won the American League Pennant against the California Angels and battled the St. Louis Cardinals in the 79th World Series. The Cardinals won the series in seven games. Let's hope the Brewers win it all this time.

This pennant was made to commemorate the appearance of the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team in the 1982 World Series.
