🚨 WELCOME TO THE TEAM! 🚨

Please join us in congratulating Firefighter/EMT Chase Gil and Firefighter/EMT John Idhe on becoming our newest part-time personnel with the Minooka Fire Protection District! 👏🚒

Both Chase and John started their journey with us as recruits and have worked hard every step of the way. From recruit training, through the Fire Academy, and earning their EMT certifications, they have continued to learn, grow, and prove their dedication to the fire service.

And they’re not stopping there! 📚🔥 Both will soon be starting Paramedic School as they continue working toward the next step in their careers.

We are proud to see them grow from recruits into firefighters and EMTs, and we’re excited to have them officially join our part-time staff.

Congratulations, Chase and John! We’re proud to have you on the team and can’t wait to see where your journey takes you! 👨‍🚒👨‍🚒

💙❤️ Thank You, Minooka Elementary School! ❤️💙

Today, the students and staff at Minooka Elementary School took time to honor and recognize our Minooka firefighters and police officers, and what a special morning it was! 🚒👮‍♀️

The students did an amazing job with their speeches, sharing thoughtful words of appreciation for the first responders who serve their community. And, of course, they treated us to some delicious breakfast goodies! 🥐☕️

They even had a very special surprise for Fire Chief Al Yancey as he prepares to retire next week after 23 years of service. 🎉🚒

Thank you, Minooka Elementary, for making our morning so special and for reminding us why serving this community is such an honor. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness and support! ❤️

You made our day! 🥰
