TAKE FLIGHT.

The Knighthawks generated a B-52 Stratofortress for a special ceremonial low-altitude flyover over Dodger Stadium, honoring Lt. Col. Gabriel Estrella, a Los Angeles native, devoted Dodgers fan, and B-52 weapon systems officer who lost his life earlier this year in a B-52 crash at Edwards Air Force Base.

Before Game 1, Lt. Col. Estrella was honored as the Military Hero of the Game, recognizing his service, dedication, and lasting impact.

Saturday October 3rd, the B-52 took flight over his hometown in his honor. 🇺🇸⚾️

Fly high, Lt. Col. Estrella. We remember.

🦅 Happy Birthday, United States Air Force

Today we celebrate the birthday of the United States Air Force, honoring the heritage, innovation, and Airmen who have shaped our service since 1947. From the earliest days of airpower to today’s global strike mission, the Air Force continues to stand ready to fly, fight, and win.

The Knighthawks are proud to be part of that legacy. Every maintainer, every sortie, and every B‑52 we generate reflects the dedication and excellence that define the world’s greatest Air Force.
