Over 2,000 fans packed the Pepsi Rink at MAYSA to help celebrate Military Appreciation Night and cheer on the Beavers men’s hockey team to a 4-1 win over the University of Mary.
“Minot State University appreciates our long-standing partnership with Minot Air Force Base, and we wish to express our gratitude by hosting Military Appreciation Night during Saturday’s Beaver hockey game,” said Steven Shirley, president of Minot State University. “This event is the second of three athletic events planned over a one-year period to continue strengthening our commitment to Minot Air Force Base and its mission.”
“Thank you to Minot State University for hosting Military Appreciation Night and to Town & Country Credit Union for their generous support of this event,” shared Kevin Black, Minot Area Chamber EDC 2023 Board Chair. “Our sincere appreciation goes out to the men and women who serve our country.
