Last push! This only takes a couple minutes and is so easy to apply. Please know you CAN stack your credits! We’ve had phone calls from people that did not realize they can have both the homestead credit and the primary residence credit. You must reapply each year.

The 2023 property tax foreclosure process has begun. Please be advised the $50 foreclosure fees will be added to the properties that have 2023 taxes outstanding as of April 1, 2026.

The application window for the primary residence credit for 2026 through the State of North Dakota ends April 1, 2026.  You must reapply for this credit each year as it does not automatically roll over.

Ward County will host a public input meeting on Thursday, February 26 from 5-7 p.m. to discuss the reconstruction and future paving of County Road 23 from Sawyer to the junction of Hwy 2.
The meeting will be held at the Sawyer City Hall Pavillion located at 45 Main Street, Sawyer, ND. The meeting will be an open house format with no formal presentation.
The project includes reconstruction of the existing roadway and future paving of the gravel surface to include two 12-foot driving lanes with two-foot shoulders. Construction is tentatively scheduled for 2027 and 2028, depending on the availability of funding.
Representatives from Ward County and KLJ Engineering will be on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.

PUBLIC INPUT INVITATION:
Ward County, in partnership with NDDOT, will host a public input meeting on Tuesday, February 17, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. to discuss the proposed intersection improvements to County Road 14 and 17, 2 miles west of Minot.
The meeting will be held at the Ward County Administration Building, 225 3rd St SE, Minot, ND 58701. Room 106-108 on the main floor. Project team members will be there to answer questions and collect feedback. A short presentation will begin at 6 p.m.
