Official page for the San Jose Highly Gifted Magnet School and Booster Club Students form a strong bond over the course of the four year program.
Located within the residence school of San Jose Street Elementary, SJHGM is comprised of a small community of 92 students who encourage each other’s growth and development both intellectually and emotionally. We will be collecting donations to make a basket for the upcoming Open House on April 16 at 5pm.

Suggested items: Games, snacks, Dave n Buster gift cards, Chuck E Cheese gift cards, and other theme park/playground gift cards.

Winter Academy at San Jose resident school is taking place December 18-20, 2023. All students who participate will be given personalized academic support to boost their academic success. Enrichment and academic opportunities include: small group instruction in ELA and math, Visual and Performing Arts, STEAM, and Social Emotional Learning. Secondary students will also be provided with opportunities for support to complete Academic Course Extension contracts. To learn more about the Winter Academy, visit: lausd.org/winteracademy
