Recognizing our C Shift crew! 🚒🚑

A family stopped by with food and a heartfelt thank you for the care our crews provided during a call on Friday. They shared how much our firefighters’ kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness meant to them during a difficult moment.

They gave special praise to FF-Paramedic Marin for his quick response, bedside manner, and thorough communication with the hospital nurse. They also appreciated how the crew stayed attentive and by their loved one’s side throughout the handoff at the hospital.

The city may be quiet at night, but the call to protect it never stops.

Last night, Mission firefighters responded to a fire at the battery farm. These incidents require crews to be alert to electrical hazards and changing fire conditions as they work to protect property. Energy storage facility brings risks that crews must assess carefully, including energized equipment and the potential for conditions to change.

This was no ordinary pizza 🍕 delivery. Mission firefighters 🚒 responded after a vehicle crashed into a local pizza restaurant. Crews worked quickly to secure the area, assist those involved, and evaluate the building for possible hazards.

A heartfelt thank you to our local H‑E‑B for visiting our fire stations and once again delivering goodies to our firefighters. Every year, H‑E‑B remembers our crews during this solemn time, and their continued kindness and support mean more than words can express.

As we commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, we are especially grateful for community partners like H‑E‑B who stand beside our first responders and help ensure that the sacrifices of that day are never forgotten.
