The Texas Civil Rights Project (TCRP) has joined the legal team representing Wilber Rafael Garces Perez in his habeas petition, challenging his detention and fighting for his freedom.

What is clear is that ICE shot Wilber. He deserves medical care, his day in court, and the chance to heal with his family. We are demanding that he be heard and fighting to bring him home.

Follow TCRP for updates on his case.

‼️Teresa Ochoa has been deported to Reynosa, Mexico ‼️
Our hearts are with the Ochoa family. They have endured immense pain. Is this what we call justice in the United States? Deporting a MOTHER when her child was assaulted by ICE officers.
She was doing what any mother would do - fighting for justice for her child. She was protecting her child! Justice for the Ochoa family.
