As winter approaches, the Lolo National Forest reminds visitors that seasonal road and gate closures will begin tomorrow across the forest. These closures are an important tool to protect wildlife during sensitive times of the year, reduce road damage, and help maintain healthy forest conditions.
Thank you for helping us protect wildlife and natural resources—just remember to check current maps and conditions before heading out.
If you have questions about specific roads or timing of closures, please visit the Lolo National Forest travel management maps or contact your local ranger district. https://www.fs.usda.gov/r01/lolo/maps-guides
