Russell Elementary School At Russell School, we serve about 400 students in grades K-5, and our mission is to ensure that each student achieves his/her full and unique potential.

Russell Families,

It’s time to collect Walkathon donations! 🎉 Our Walkathon is Russell’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and every dollar makes a difference. Funds raised support classroom accounts, community events, school improvements, and so much more!

HOW TO COLLECT DONATIONS
Students are encouraged to ask family members, friends, and neighbors they know if they would like to support Russell School. Please do not send your child door-to-door.

Sponsors can make a flat-dollar donation in any of the following ways:

Cash or check: Return donations in your child’s Walkathon envelope.
PayPal QR code: Scan the code on the back of the envelope.
Online donations: Share this donation link with friends and family near and far. You do not need a PayPal account to donate! (https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/8ZL6LNFPLVXQ8)

🏆 WALKATHON PRIZES

We’re excited to celebrate our fundraisers!

The top five student fundraisers in the school will receive prizes.
Every student who raises $100 or more will earn a prize!

Wednesday, October 14: Walkathon Day!
1:45–2:30 p.m.: Families are welcome to join us on the track behind Russell to cheer on our students!

📢 WEATHER UPDATE: Russell Community Tree Planting Day Rescheduled!

Due to pending bad weather on Saturday, we are moving our Tree Planting Day to Friday, October 9, at 3:00 PM.

Please join us right after school on the Russell School Kindergarten playground. Students, families, staff, and neighbors are all invited to help plant trees and make our school grounds even more beautiful.
🗓 When: Friday, October 9 at 3:00 PM
📍 Where: Meet on the Kindgerten playground at Russell School
🌱 Who: All are welcome!

Please bring work gloves if you have them, and help us grow a greener future together!

🌳 Russell Elementary Tree Project: Phase 2! 🌳

The Russell community is growing! We’re excited to continue our Tree Project and invite families and community members to join us as we plant several new trees in Zone 2 of our playground.

🌱 When: Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM
📍 Where: Russell Elementary School
🧤 What to Bring: A pair of work gloves

Every tree planted helps us grow a greener, more welcoming space for our students and community. We hope you’ll join us for this special day of teamwork and community pride!
