The Edible Arbor Trail stretches along 2 miles of Oyster Creek Trail in Missouri City. It demonstrat As of February 2014, there are 16 groves (160 trees).
The Edible Arbor Trail was created in 2010 by City Forester Paul Wierzbicki. The purpose: To demonstrate trees and shrubs that produce edible fruits & nuts in our region. The varieties are:
Mexican Plum
Mulberry
Persimmon
Jujubi
Pomegranate
Fig
Kumquat
Pear
Chestnut
Pineapple Guava
Pecan
Walnut
Olive
Narange Lemon
Sponsors - businesses or individuals - purchase the groves and are given a permanen

ALERT 🚧 The City is working with Fort Bend County to make drainage improvements on Oyster Creek near Mosley Park. Construction begins next week and a portion of the Edible Arbor Trail at Mosley Park on will be closed during this time.
