La Sal Mountain Report 10/15/26

Take a gander at that why dontcha!! The La Sals are covered in snow! Not sure how long it will last but it's here for the foreseeable future. Whole Enchilada riders, temper expectations, dropoff for the weekend is LPS. Desert season is in full swing so get your kicks down low this weekend but do watch out for puddles and mud!

"Paved pathway repairs start Monday. Please steer clear.
First, some good news. We’re repairing worn and damaged sections of the Moab Canyon paved path to provide a great user experience for years to come. The not-so-good news is that for the next 2-3 weeks we’re asking riders, walkers, and runners to stay off the path during the day.
Crews begin Monday, October 12, and expect to work in phases over about two weeks, moving south from SR-313 (near Moab Giants) toward Lions Park. Work happens during the day, so the simplest, safest plan is to skip the pathway M-Th for the next two weeks to avoid interfering with the work.
The more freely crews can work, the faster the path reopens and the less risk the project runs of delays. So if you ride or walk the pathway, or run bike shuttle trips for guests who use the pathway to get back to town, please plan another route for now and spread the word.
We’ll post a detailed, phase-by-phase schedule early next week once it's firm. Thanks for your patience with this short-term inconvenience for a long-term payoff"

We've been having a great time out there and getting so much trail dug. We also have a long way to go! Come help out and give back to the trails!

Floods have taken Jackson's bridge out and dislodged the Amasa bridge! Our crew will get them back in place next week. Until then, stay safe out there!

Wednesday, October 7th, 4-6pm at the Robin Groff Skill Park. It's been a while but the park needs some love to get super usable again and you can help us!
