October is Safe Sleep and SIDS Awareness Month- Safe Sleep Saves Lives!

Every baby deserves a safe place to sleep! Small steps can make a big difference in protecting your little one during naps and nighttime.

Remember the ABCs of safe sleep:
Alone: Keep pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, toys, and bumpers out of baby's sleep space.

Back: Always place baby on their back for every nap and nighttime sleep.

Crib: Use a firm, flat, level sleep surface with only a fitted sheet. Keep baby's crib or bassinet in the same room where you sleep, ideally for at least the first 6 months.

Help us spread the word about safe infant sleep! Share these tips with family members, babysitters, and caregivers to help keep every baby safe.
