Social Media Commenting Guidelines

Sometimes the best way to educate our children is to model great behavior; this includes positive social media practices. To keep our social media sites safe forums for sharing your experiences, suggesting improvements, or joining a conversation, we have a few simple guidelines. To ensure exchanges are informative, respectful of diverse viewpoints, and lawful, we will not allow comments that are:
• Spam: Comments selling a product or service will be removed.
• On Topic: Comments that do not reflect the topic of the post will be removed or hidden.
• Personal attacks: If you disagree with a post, we ask that you refrain from personal attacks or being disrespectful of others.
• Illegal: Laws that govern the use of copyrights, trade secrets, etc. will be followed.
• Language: Comments including, but not limited to, profane or provocative language, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive or derogatory content, threats, obscene or sexually explicit language will be deleted. Contact Us Directly. District social media accounts are not meant to circumvent regular communication channels for sharing personal issues & concerns. While the district makes every effort to respond to direct questions in a timely manner, comments regarding a personal issue with the district or a school staff member will be removed. Way to go, Lady Spartans! ❤️ 💙

Tonight the Lady Spartan Golf Team celebrated the best overall season in 10+ years. This was a special group of ladies who gave it their all this season.

Our record was 61-49 and we were the MEC East Conference Champions. Here are some of the 10 year records broke this season.

Matches: 200 at Marshall. 199 at Fulton, 198 at Battle and 191 at Home.

Tournaments: 403 at Chillicothe, 411 Conference record, 427 District record.

Maddi Ames finished the season with a 96 and missed the State cut by 2 strokes.

We also have 5 Academic All-State student athletes: Maddi Ames, Nicole Riffel, Abbie O’Loughlin, Layla Van Cleve, and Sky Reger.

Here's an update from one of our student philanthropists, Andrew O'Loughlin, MHS Senior:

"...The Moberly area schools, as well as a couple of other schools and local businesses, were very generous in donating important and useful supplies (folders, notebooks, pencils, paper, and computers), which I had the privilege of delivering to four schools in Africa. I'm grateful for the generosity of our community, and it was very rewarding to personally deliver these supplies to the schools in Tanzania in August.

It was a unique experience to be able to meet with the students, tour their schools, and see what their daily lives are like. One idea I had was to see whether a pen pal program would work for our students and theirs.

Thank you so much for all of your support and encouragement throughout the process.

Bus 10 (GBE) will be combined with Bus 2 (North Park) this afternoon. The driver will pick up GBE kids then go to NP. Stops will run about 20-30 minutes behind schedule.
