MoonPie Over Mobile New Year Celebration

05/26/2026

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Rob Base, who brought incredible energy to MoonPie Over Mobile on December 31, 2023.
From the moment he stepped on stage, the crowd was dancing, singing along and ringing in the New Year with one of hip hop’s most recognizable voices. We’re grateful he was part of our celebration and that Mobile had the chance to experience his talent and charisma firsthand.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends and fans around the world.
Thank you for the memories, Rob. 🙏
