💙💛What would your teacher be if she wasn’t a teacher?💙💛
Our Dawes Broadcasting Team works hard every day to bring the news to our students. The reporters are out in the school talking to students and teachers alike. We are so proud of their hard work. Our Dawes staff got to enjoy a little extra sweetness today with a waffle bar full of fresh fruit and fun toppings! From delicious combinations to a little end of the week indulgence, it was the perfect way to add some fun to our Friday! A little sweetness goes a long way when you’re surrounded by a team that gives so much to our Hawks every day! 🍓🫐🍫🧇

🎉WE HAVE SOME DAWESOME NEWS TO CELEBRATE! 🎉
We are absolutely THRILLED to congratulate our very own Mrs. Talia Johnson on being named the AAESA District II Assistant Principal of the Year!

Mrs. Johnson is so much more than an amazing assistant principal. She is a leader, encourager, problem-solver, cheerleader, and friend. She loves our students, supports our teachers, serves our families, and somehow manages to take care of ALL of us! Dawes is a better place because of her leadership, her heart, and the joy she brings to our school every single day.

And if you know Mrs. Johnson, you know exactly what she reminds us:
“It’s a GREAT day to have a GREAT day!”

We could not be prouder to call you OUR Assistant Principal! Congratulations, Mrs. Johnson! Your Dawes family loves you and we are SO proud of you!
