What an amazing day at George Hall! We were excited to welcome our parents and families to campus for a wonderful day of fellowship, connection, and quality time with their children. Seeing so many families come together reminds us that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to student success!

We have an exciting week ahead at George Hall! Please review these important reminders and upcoming events.

🧺 Parenting Day – Monday, October 19: Families are invited to enjoy a picnic lunch with their children! K–2 will picnic from 10:45–11:45 a.m., and grades 3–5 will picnic from 12:00–1:00 p.m. Please bring a healthy meal to enjoy together. Report cards and important school information will also be provided.

🍦 Ice Cream Friday: Students can enjoy a sweet treat for just $2!

👕 Out-of-Uniform Friday: K–5 students may participate for $2 to support our Peer Helpers. Please see the flyer for additional details.

📝 ACAP Practice Assessments – October 20–November 6: Please ensure students arrive on time, attend school daily, and are ready to do their best!

🧥 Weather Reminder: As temperatures begin to drop, please remember that hooded jackets are not permitted, and all jackets must follow the school uniform policy.

Today, our 2nd–5th grade teachers participated in engaging Math Professional Learning with Ms. Johnson focused on strengthening mathematics instruction and preparing our students for continued success!

Teachers explored standards-based games, hands-on learning experiences, ACAP-aligned strategies, and teacher and student mathematical practices. They also examined ways to make math instruction more engaging while building students’ problem-solving, reasoning, and critical-thinking skills.

We are committed to ensuring that instruction at George Hall is Focused, Intentional, and Transformative! 🦅💙

Today, our dedicated teachers participated in ARI Region 10 PAUSE Professional Learning and Learning Launch! These engaging sessions provided opportunities to strengthen instructional practices, collaborate with colleagues, and explore effective strategies to enhance student learning and achievement.
