Twenty-five years ago, our nation was forever changed by the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Today, we remember those who lost their lives, honor the heroes who answered the call, and keep their families in our thoughts. We also remember the strength and unity that followed.

May we never forget that day, or the way Americans came together afterward and stood as one nation.

Twenty-five years later, may we continue to carry that same spirit of unity, strength, and compassion forward.

Preparedness begins long before the emergency happens. Davie County EMS was proud to take part in this multi-agency grain bin rescue exercise to improve teamwork, communication, and rescue skills. These rare but serious incidents require practice so responders can work safely and effectively when every second counts. Thank you to everyone involved for making this training possible.
