Say hello to Jessie Simon! Rotarian, community member and if you did not already know... the karaoke king! 🎤

Jessie has been part of the MoRo family for over a year now and we loved sitting down with him to hear about his Rotary journey and his love for the mic that extends well beyond our Tuesday meetings. We respect it fully. 👏

Want to meet more incredible people like Jessie? Come join us next Tuesday! 💙

We meet every Tuesday at the DoubleTree in Modesto and we would love to have you at the table. Whether you are curious about Rotary or ready to jump in, the door is open!

DM us for more details and we will save you a seat.

Thank you.

Three words. Endless meaning. 💙

Service Above Self has been the heartbeat of Rotary International for over 100 years and it is something our MoRo members embody every single week. It is not just something we say, it is how we show up for Modesto, for each other, and for our community day in and day out. 💛

Swipe through for a little reminder of what Service Above Self really looks like in action.

Two new faces, a powerful program and an exciting week ahead. Here is everything from Tuesday’s meeting:

NEW MEMBER INDUCTIONS
A huge welcome to our two newest MoRo members:
✨ Rudy Gonzalez
✨ Leann Craven
We are so glad you are here and we cannot wait to hear your new member speeches and get to know you both better.

THIS WEEK’S PROGRAM
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month we were so proud to welcome Gloriamar Gamez and Yamilet Valladolid who brought such a fun and engaging program. They walked us through the rich history of Hispanic and Latin heritage and the profound impact it has had on the United States, from eye opening stats to musical influence, political impact and so much more. 💛

They even had Rotarians singing. 🎶
Thank you both!

LOOKING AHEAD
Next Tuesday we are taking the meeting offsite for Harvest of Hope! Don't miss it!

See you next Tuesday MoRo!

The numbers behind Rotary are hard to ignore.

Swipe through to see just how far the reach of this organization goes… and remember that behind every stat is a real person, a real community, and a real story of service. 💛

We are proud to be one small but mighty piece of something this big right here in Modesto.

Tuesday’s meeting was an important one and we are so glad we showed up.💙

With November right around the corner our own Amy Wolfe alongside Theresa Kiehn from the League of Women Voters of Stanislaus County walked us through the propositions on the upcoming ballot, and wow, what a conversation it sparked. Informed voters make stronger communities and yesterday’s room was full of both.

If you have ever wished someone would just sit down and break it all down for you; that is exactly what yesterday felt like. Clear, insightful and incredibly timely. Thank you Amy and Theresa for bringing this to our Tuesday table. 🙌

Up next, we are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month on Tuesday October 13th with a program featuring Gloriamar Gamez and Yamilet Valladolid. See you there!
