The Salvation Army Modesto Red Shield Center & Corps Community Center "There is no reward equal to that of doing the most good to the most people in the most need." -- Eva

The Modesto Red Shield is a community center in the heart of South Modesto where youth and adults enjoy a variety of activities from boxing, basketball, swimming, and scout programs. The Red Shield is open Monday through Friday from 8am - 7pm with programs for seniors and adults including Zumba and from 2:30 -6:30 for afterschool programs and public use. There is a small membership fee for using the facility, but the Red Shield offers free programs like our Teen Night which is every Friday night from 6pm -8pm.
