Good morning!

A Budget workshop / meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday October 20, 2026 at 5:30 PM

The regular meeting of the Town Board will be held on Wednesday October 28, 2026 at 5:30 PM.

A public hearing is scheduled for 6:00 PM during the meeting on October 28 regarding the 2027 budget.

The location of the meetings are all at the Community Center, 555 State Route 5s Mohawk.

Beginning Monday, October 5, through Monday, October 12, Route 28 South will be closed to all traffic starting at the bottom of Vickerman Hill. Please observe all posted detour signage for alternative routes. Road work is being conducted by the NYS Department of Transportation.

For those who are looking to dispose of any paints and chemicals such as oil-based and latex paints, pesticides, oven cleaners, and photographic chemicals are considered seasonal waste. This type of waste is only accepted from April - September. Please note there is a daily limit as to how much you can take back. Further details can be found on their website: ohswa.org

Paint / Chemcials/ Oil / etc. will NOT be accepted at this event!

Please see the road work schedule below for the areas of Summit Street, Putts Hill Road, Casey Road, Pinebush Road and Manion Heights. If you must drive in these areas please do so with caution for the safety of the persons working on our highways or do your best to avoid these areas on the following days:

8/24 Milling - Summit Street, Putts Hill
8/27- Paving - Summit Street, Putts Hill
8/31 Paving Casey Rd, Pinebush Rd.
9/9- Micro-paving Manion Heights, Putts Hill
