It's about this time of year when we start seeing political signs up at Cumston Hall, and the questions we get are always the same....
Can they do that?
The answer - of course they can.
Cumston Hall is public property, and as such, political signs are often placed here as it is central in town, and just an amazing spot to advertise.
Political signs are also protected by Maine statute, and cannot be removed from public right of way unless by an authorized town agent.
Don't forget to vote on Tuesday, November 3 at 117 Academy Rd. 8am-8pm
