LEAF COLLECTION HAS BEGUN!
Please make attempts to keep your leaves out of the street. If leaves are blown into the street, kindly rake or blow them back up behind the curb. Leaves have been proven to be one of the largest sources of phosphorus and nitrogen pollution to our local waterbodies, especially in urban settings where there is a storm sewer network efficiently routing the runoff to our waterways.

The City of Monona’s secure Ballot Drop Box is located outside City Hall, just to the left of the main entrance doors.

Voters may return their completed absentee ballots at any time after receiving them in the mail through 8:00 p.m. on Election Day (Inside City Hall). The final collection of DROP BOX ballots occurs at 5:00 p.m. on Election Day. After that time, the Ballot Drop Box is locked and remains closed until the next election cycle.
Important:

Before depositing your absentee ballot, please ensure that your ballot certificate envelope is complete and includes:
Voter signature
Witness signature
Witness printed name
Witness address
Incomplete ballot envelopes may result in your ballot not being counted.
