In case you don't have it on your calendar, the Benton County Board of Commissioners is hosting another evening meeting on Tuesday, October 27 from 6-8 p.m. at the Kalapuya Building and online.

We'll have a public health update from Benton County Health Department, a Children and Families Behavioral Health program overview, a re-launch of our comprehensive plan update, a roads project update about the Midge Cramer Bike Path and a report from the Juvenile Work Crew and Youth Program.

Who else is excited to see what the U of O Sustainable City Year Program and the City of Philomath Partnership produces?!

The City of Philomath has been selected by the University of Oregon’s Sustainable City Year Program (SCYP) for a two-year partnership. SCYP will match resources from existing university courses to a diverse portfolio of applied projects that address key community priorities, from parks and downtown vitality to infrastructure, sustainability, and economic development. Throughout the partnership students will support the City through research, planning, and community engagement delivering practical, community-centered recommendations aligned with Philomath’s goals.
