💙🐾 A HUGE Best Buy Shoutout! 🐾💙

We had an amazing crew from our local Best Buy team stop by the adoption center today to lend a helping hand! From tackling organization projects around the shelter to giving our pups some extra leash time and quality one-on-one socialization, these folks jumped right in and brought so much great energy to our facility.

Community support like this makes such a positive impact for our shelter pets while they wait for their forever homes. There were plenty of wagging tails, happy faces, and lots of love to go around! 🐕✨

🐾 Huge Volunteer Thanks! 🍁

A massive thank you to the incredible volunteers who spent their Saturday making a direct impact for our shelter pups! We had two fantastic crews on site today: the ULM Pharmacy students and DBS from Sterlington High. Thanks to their energy and dedication, our dogs got to stretch their legs on long walks, enjoy play yard time, and soak up some quality socialization.

On top of giving our dogs so much love, these hard-working teams rolled up their sleeves to help us hang tarps around the kennels to prep our facility for the upcoming cooler weather. Community support like this keeps our shelter running smoothly and ensures our pups stay warm, comfortable, and cared for.

🐾 Big Hearts & Happy Tails! Huge Thanks to Lumen & Carroll High School! 🐶✨

Today was an absolute powerhouse of community kindness at the shelter! A massive shoutout and heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team from Lumen and the incredible students from Carroll High School for spending their day volunteering with us. Between getting dozens of tail-wagging pups out for much-needed walks and rolling up their sleeves to tackle several big projects around the facility, their hard work made an immediate difference. The shelter is running smoother, and our dogs are officially tuckered out and happy!

We are endlessly grateful for community partners and young leaders who show up with so much energy, compassion, and dedication to our rescue animals. It’s official! We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Timber has officially been adopted by his foster family! 🏡🐾 He was already living his absolute best life in their home, but today they signed the papers and made it forever. We couldn't be more excited that his foster journey turned into a lifetime of love. ✨

A massive thank you to his amazing family for opening their home to foster this sweet boy, and then choosing to make him a permanent part of the pack. We just know Timber is going to continue having an incredible life filled with endless love, cozy naps, and all the adventures he can handle. 🐕💙
