Sometimes we lock into our ideas so much that we forget there is a legitimate point being made for both sides of an issue.

On Tuesday night the City Council voted to approve a change in zoning for property owned by a local church.

There was no right. There was no wrong. There were just different opinions.

On matters such as these we should be flexible, learn from people on the opposing side, and, if their arguments are convincing, be able to change our minds.
