Women Around the World as Catalysts for Lasting Community Change.

Our Mission

The Junior League of Monroe is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our Organization

Since 1930, members of the Junior League of Monroe have devoted countless volunteer hours to meet the needs of the people and organizations of our community. Community leaders have always looked to the Junior League of Monroe for leadership in starting new community programs. As a result, the Junior League of Monroe has often been the catalyst that turned an idea into a success that benefited many in our area. Here are a few examples of programs that we have started in recent years: CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocate, Teen Screen, Shots for Tots, Teen Court, Operation Abstinence, and Project Child.

Never had a waxed amaryllis? You're in for a treat! 🌺

These little bulbs are pretty amazing. There's no potting soil, no watering, and really no work involved!

The wax coating helps the bulb retain the moisture it needs to grow. Just place it somewhere warm with bright, indirect light and enjoy watching it come to life.

Before you know it, you'll have a beautiful red amaryllis bloom to enjoy during the holidays.

They're easy enough for anyone to grow, which is exactly why we love giving them as gifts!

❤️ $25 each

We won't tell!

Our waxed amaryllis bulbs are $25 each and make the prettiest addition to your holiday decor or a thoughtful gift for someone special.

Choose red or green wax, and enjoy a beautiful red bloom as the holiday season gets underway.

Every bulb purchased gives back to the Junior League of Monroe's community projects, so it's a gift you can feel good about giving. ❤️

Just a few days left to order!

It's more than just a pretty flower. ❤️

When you purchase a waxed amaryllis from the Junior League of Monroe, you're helping us continue the work we do throughout our community.

From providing prom dresses through our Cinderella Project and school uniforms for children in need to funding classroom mini-grants for teachers and stocking Care Closets with essential hygiene products, your support helps make these projects possible.

That's what **Bloom for Good** is all about.

A $25 bulb might seem like a small purchase, but together, those purchases can make a meaningful difference.

Thank you for supporting our League and the community we love!

🌺 Orders close October 27.

Let's talk Christmas shopping. 🎄

Teachers, neighbors, coworkers, hostesses, mothers-in-law… we all have those people on our lists who are a little harder to shop for!

Our waxed amaryllis bulbs make such a sweet gift, and at $25 each, you can check a few names off your list while supporting a great cause.

They'll arrive the week of November 30, just in time for holiday gifting!

And the best part? Your Christmas shopping can help make a difference right here in Northeast Louisiana. ❤️

Orders are open through October 27!
