Just a heads up! 💨

The wind is crazy today and we’ve already had 70 mph gusts. We recommend holding off on visiting so things don’t blow out of the library and the door doesn’t get damaged in the wind.

Hopefully, it will mellow out soon and the rain doesn’t flood us in the next few days.🤞🏼

We recently received a special package from , another Little Free Library! They sent us a copy of Enchantra written by A.I. Muñoz (the library steward's husband), along with the sweetest handwritten note.�✨

Thank you so much for thinking of our little Fairytale Fridge! I absolutely love seeing Little Free Libraries supporting one another and sharing their love of reading. 🥰�

We're excited to share Enchantra with our community and help it find its next reader. P.s. it's in the fridge now!! 📖

I found a jar of Positive Pumpkins at the thrift store for egg filler. I hope our visitors enjoy them as much as I did. They kept getting more and more unhinged as I went along. 😆🎃

We have started adding some Halloween goodies to the fridge for spooky season! 👻🎃

If you have any Halloween books or goodies laying around from last year, we would love to take them off of your hands! All donations can be left in the tote behind the library shed and are so appreciated! 🖤🧡

We had a yard sale last weekend and the library has been a bit in shambles ever since. 😅

We had A LOT of new visitors, which is so exciting! Welcome if you’re following us here now!! 💕

Last night, We worked on cleaning up and swapping out the barn side of the library. And I finally found some big Easter eggs at the DI yesterday, so we have some brand new adoptable animals in the adoption swap on the other side! 🐾

I’ll be cleaning up the rest of the boxes and the library, so we can start adding Halloween goodies this weekend! 🎃👻

Our guestbook has been taken twice over the last few months (along with our Geocache, though it was returned the first time). We want to think it is by mistake, but the guestbooks never turn back up and it’s starting to feel intentional. We treasure the little notes left inside and it is so sad to keep losing them over and over. 💔

We just added a new guestbook, so please sign it again on your next visit! I have been trying to take photos of entries, but it’s just not the same as having the actual handwritten notes. This time we are trying a binder so I can periodically remove and save the entries inside.

I have been hesitant to mention this because I never want people to feel uncomfortable visiting the library, but we do have a security camera that monitors the fridge. We added it after having a few issues we wanted to keep an eye on. It’s positioned at a distance to respect visitors’ privacy, but it does allow us to see the vehicles coming and going.

We’re not saying the guest books were taken intentionally or that the same visitor was involved both times, we really don’t know. We just ask everyone to be thoughtful about what belongs to the library versus what is meant to go home with you. If you’re ever unsure, please just ask!

We do a lot of giving through this fridge and the guestbook is the only thing we keep for us. Please help us keep this a space that everyone can keep enjoying. ❤️❤️
