Working Fire for the Engine Co. 🔥

On Saturday evening around 1830 hours, Engine 41 & C-42 responded to the Sardis section of Murrysville for a house on fire. Engine 41 arrived on scene and immediately went to work deploying ground ladders. 41’s crew was then reassigned to Division 2 to open up for E78 and assist with fire suppression. Crews operated for several hours and the fire reached multiple alarms.

During the fire, Engine 42 responded to a nursing home in the first due for an odor of smoke in the building. The area in question was investigated with nothing found. Several EMS calls were handled as well during these incidents.

He cared for thousands of people and saved many lives during his career. Manno suffered a medical emergency in the line of duty while working his full-time job at North Huntingdon EMS/Rescue. May he continue to watch over us and rest in peace.
