The “new” Library wing had its 36th birthday this week!! Now we are starting to replace all those “new” parts that have served the community well. Remember, all capital improvements to our building and grounds is paid for by the Library Association, not the taxpayers. We are truly “the best deal in town”! Happy Birthday to us and to all of you that love your library!!! So much has happened in those 36 years! Conversations, homework, programs, and parties for all ages!! Even a courtship or two. 😉Thank you for being a part of this history!! 🩷 Below is a photo from our 25th birthday bash! Virginia Midyette is pictured cutting the ribbon again. Ginny was on the fundraising committee that raised $1,233,400 to build this beautiful wing.
