Another morning run, another reminder of how dangerous distracted driving can be. I was almost hit twice this morning by drivers who simply weren’t paying attention.

Please slow down, put the phone away, and look out for pedestrians, runners and cyclists. We all deserve to make it home safely. 🏃🏾‍♂️🚗

Attention 3rd Ward, there are new speed humps on Undercliff to address the speeding that occurs on that street. I want to thank Montclair’s Complete Streets Director, Town Engineer and Head of DCS for getting this done. Please join me in congratulating Bill Harrison who was unanimously appointed to fill the vacant Councilor-At-Large seat at this evening’s Town Council Meeting. Bill is a long time resident of Montclair and has served as the Chairman of the Town’s Zoning Board for close to 40 years. I look forward to working with Bill and the rest of my colleagues on the Council as we navigate the challenges ahead.
