On October 8th and 9th, the Monterey Police Department hosted a Red Dot Optic Instructor Course taught by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Several agencies from across the state came to Monterey to be a part of this class. Sgt. Larry Bates and Sgt. Blake Bennett attended as well and are now Red Dot Optic Instructors. Sgt. Bates and Sgt. Bennett will be teaching the rest of the department in a few weeks. Job well done!!!
