**MCE Families: Important Afternoon Pick-Up Reminder**

The safety and security of our students is always a top priority at MCE. As we continue working to provide a safe and efficient afternoon dismissal, we want to remind families of our established car rider pick-up procedures.

Recently, we have experienced an increase in the number of families parking and walking to the vestibule to pick up their children. When our vestibule becomes crowded, it becomes difficult for staff to safely monitor and manage student dismissal. Additionally, assisting walk-up families creates delays for those waiting in the designated car rider line.

**Beginning Friday, October 9, students will be dismissed through our designated car rider line first.** We ask that all families picking up students at the end of the day use the car rider line whenever possible.

**Families who choose to park and walk up to the building must remain in their vehicles until the car rider line has been completed.** Once the line is finished, families may approach the vestibule to pick up their children.

As a reminder, our regular car rider dismissal begins at 3:45 PM.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together to keep dismissal safe, secure, and efficient for all MCE students and families!
