🚒❤️ WE THINK WE HAVE A WINNER FOR BEST COSTUME OF THE YEAR! 🎃🏆

Talk about dedication to the fire service! This little future firefighter caught our attention at a recent community Trunk-or-Treat event hosted in our neighboring department, Montgomery County ESD #2's district.

Although Halloween has come and gone for another year, we just couldn't let this one go without sharing!

From his firefighter gear and helmet to his very own homemade fire truck, this little guy and his family went ALL OUT! 🚒👏

Even better, his custom fire truck proudly represents both Montgomery County ESD #2 and Montgomery County ESD #3! And if you happen to notice the number 3 displayed on the side, there's an adorable reason behind it — this little firefighter recently celebrated his THIRD birthday! ❤️

We absolutely love seeing the enthusiasm, creativity, and community spirit behind this costume. A huge round of applause to this young man and his family for putting together such a memorable tribute to the fire service!

THE FUTURE OF THE FIRE SERVICE IS LOOKING BRIGHT! ❤️🚒

H-GAC is preparing for Pop-Up Event #2 for the Montgomery County Mobility Plan.

Date: Saturday, November 14th.
Location: Brookshire Bros
18535 FM 1488
Magnolia 77355
Time: 1:30p.m. - 3:30p.m.

This will offer the public an opportunity to see future mobility plans that are in the development and discussion phase.
Community involvement helps to provide valuable public input on transporation needs throughout Montgomery County. All feedback from the public is considered through this channel of communication.

Road reconstruction on Highland Blvd is in the beginning stages with signage notification in the area to be followed by replacement of the roadway. The work will involve the length of Highland Blvd leading from Dobbin Hufsmith.
Please consider allowing extra time to navigate the construction zone and drive slowly past the workers for everyone’s safety.

November is Carbon Monoxide (CO) Awareness Month! NFPA is teaming up with the National Carbon Monoxide Awareness Association to remind everyone that CO safety matters at every age and every stage of life. Protect yourself and your family:
• Install CO alarms outside each sleeping area and on every level of your home.
• Test CO alarms at least once a month.
• If a CO alarm sounds, get everyone outside to fresh air and call 911.
