🫀 When a caller says someone isn’t breathing, the clock is already running.
According to American Heart Association , here in Alabama, only about 3 out of every 100 people survive a cardiac arrest outside the hospital. Nationally, it’s 10.
That means for a lot of families, the 911 telecommunicator is the only person who can get CPR started. That number can change, and it starts with us. 💙
This full-day Telecommunicator CPR session goes beyond protocol cards and certification requirements to focus on what REALLY HAPPENS on these calls: the hesitation, the panicked callers, and the split-second decisions we make without ever seeing the patient.
Using real 911 audio and case examples, we’ll talk through how to move from fear to confidence on the one call we truly own.
Whether you work the console, review calls, supervise a floor, or respond in the field, you’ll leave with skills you can use on your next cardiac arrest call.
