Good evening everyone. As of today, all neighborhood watch meeting will cease. We will be exploring options for another venue to host our meetings but up to now have not had any luck. Thank you to those who loyally supported our meetings.

Good afternoon everyone. After a long search, we have been unable to find a facility large enough to safely accommodate the anticipated audience in anticipation of this month’s guest speaker. And after last Thursday nights meeting, Oswegoland Community House stated they planned to host another meeting, these meetings may in fact be counterproductive. With that being said, there will be no Boulder Hill Neighborhood Watch meeting in October. Thank you.

Deputy Briars talked about this at our last meeting, here is the link to the map for the call activity. Thank you.

Good morning Boulder Hill. We wanted to wait until after the community picnic to talk about this to avoid negativity, but someone beat us to it. We are aware , as now are you, of the Oswegoland Community House and its intentions with the Church of the Brethren. This effort was kept under the rug, and has been backed by members of the Oswego Senior Center staff throughout its planning phase. There are way too many questions to be answered, and concerns of the residents of this community that need to be heard. Statements being made that they don't care what we think, we're doing it anyway hold weight. This individual may have been corrected, and told the politically correct thing to say, but he said it, he meant it, and the word got out. The Oswegoland Community House plans to come speak to Boulder Hill neighborhood watch at our October meeting. In the meantime, they have a public meeting scheduled for September 24 at 6pm at the Church of the Brethren, 155 Boulder Hill Pass. Thank you.

Thank you to everyone who attended our picnic, and especially our sponsors Bobby Richardson for Sheriff, Matt Kellogg, Debbie Gillette, Robyn Vickers and Community Cares, Melissa Yackley United Reality. Without these sponsors, we could never make this happen. There were so many local businesses who donated raffle prizes, we will be doing a post to recognize them as well. We are already looking forward to next year’s picnic and making it even better than this year. Thank you again to everyone!

Less than 24 hours away and we are making our final preparations. A few things to mention, everything will be provided, there is no cost and you do not need to bring anything except possibly a chair. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the park. We also ask that with the crowds, it may not be a good environment for pets. We will only have a short time together, but we will make it fun. We have several prizes to raffle, every 15 minutes there will be at least one winner! Let’s have a good time with our neighbors, community leaders and representatives from the sponsors who made this happen. Looking forward to seeing you there tomorrow.

Good morning. The picnic is one day away and we are ready. Another way we want to give back to the community, we have partnered with River View Ford to feed the hungry. We are asking, but this is not mandatory, if you have an extra non-perishable food item that you would like to donate, bring it with you and drop it in the bin. All items collected will be donated right back into the community. Thank you.
