Happy National Custodian Day!

Today, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank two very important members of our Piatt County team — Piatt County Sheriff’s Office Custodian Terry and Piatt County Courthouse Custodian Sylvia! 👏

The Piatt County Courthouse, built in 1903, and the Piatt County Sheriff’s Office Public Safety Building, built in 2004, are important pieces of our county’s history and public safety infrastructure. Terry and Sylvia work hard every day to care for, maintain, and protect these facilities and the county assets they represent.

Their work may often happen behind the scenes, but it makes a tremendous difference to everyone who works in and visits these buildings. They take great pride in what they do, and both do an amazing job protecting and caring for Piatt County’s assets.

Please join us in saying THANK YOU, Terry and Sylvia! We appreciate your dedication, hard work, and commitment to keeping our county facilities safe, clean, and well cared for.
