A big thank you to Mayor Mullins and Investigator Frank for getting the peanuts ready for tonight! And also thank you to City Clerk Dana Howell for donating the peanuts to us for today’s games!🙌

Come by and see Mayor Mullins and his Youth Council at the concession stand tomorrow at the soccer fields! We’ll have burgers, hot dogs, nachos, boiled peanuts, candy, cold drinks & more ready to go! 🙌

We’re hoping to transition to cashless payments beginning next week to make checkout quicker and easier!

UPDATE‼️‼️‼️

Coaches are filled for our high school ages and 9-12 U ages. Thank you parents and volunteers‼️

NEEDED‼️‼️‼️‼️ We are still in need of coaches for ages 3-5 and 6-8. We need at least 2 more coaches in both age groups in order to split the teams properly. If we do not get volunteers then this will leave us with the difficult decision to have very large teams or refund money for these age groups. PLEASE help us fill these positions so we can get started on our Soccer League for Park’s and Rec!

DRAFTS will take place this week for teams with coaches‼️

COACHES NEEDED! ⚽️

We need at least 2 coaches in EVERY division to keep teams manageable and make the season run smoothly!

Divisions:
• Ages 3–5
• Ages 6–8
• Ages 9–12
• High School

If you’re willing to step up and coach, WE NEED YOU! You don’t have to be a soccer expert — just willing to help, encourage the kids, and make this a great season! ❤️⚽️

IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING FALL SPORTS FOR MONTICELLO PARKS AND REC‼️

*Deadline for registration has been extended til August 23rd. This will be the final day to register.

*Numbers look very good for soccer, flag football still needs a few players.

*Coaches are NEEDED‼️If we do not have an adequate amount of coaches then we are unable to divide teams properly and we are not able to draft in a timely manner. The quicker we get coaches the quicker the season can start.

*Flag Football and Soccer will be played on the SAME nights. Games will be on Thursdays and Monday/Tuesdays will be rotated.
