Join us this evening at 6 PM for a special reception where Fred will speak about his work, his background, and inspirations. Fans of the whimsical and fantastical are encouraged to stop by, view the work and hear stories about it, right from the artist himself.

His artwork will be available to view until October 19th, please ask at the front desk to view the full exhibit.

Some of Fred Holly’s work can also be viewed in the Indiana State Museum’s permanent collection; he has also received prizes and awards for his work, some from the Hoosier Art Salon. He has also worked closely with other talented well known artists like Jim Henson, Holly being one of the artists hand picked by Henson to join the art team on the film Dark Crystal. Despite all of his major achievements he will still tell you the most important accomplishment to him is teaching.

“I have always thought that an artist's job is to take the viewer on a visual journey. A Journey in which the artist shares his vision of what he sees and what he feels. If I have completed this task, and communication is achieved then the work of art is truly successful.” - Fred Holly
