Building Idaho’s Future Through Project-Based Learning

At the Workforce Development Council, we know that preparing Idaho students for the future starts with meaningful learning today.

We’re proud to introduce the Future Pathways Network: Project-Based Learning Schools, a growing network of schools helping students connect classroom learning to the careers, industries, and opportunities shaping Idaho’s future.

Through project-based learning, students take on real-world challenges, build durable skills such as collaboration and problem-solving, and gain a clearer picture of the many pathways available after graduation.

The Future Pathways Network brings together schools, educators, employers, and community partners to create career-connected learning experiences that help students discover their strengths and envision their next steps.

We look forward to spotlighting the innovative work happening in participating schools across Idaho.

BLMS Parent-Teacher Conferences – Next Week!

Our main conference night is Thursday, October 22nd from 4–6 PM, featuring hands-on STEM stations for all ages and our Library Open House!

Teachers are also available Friday, October 23rd from 7:30 AM–3:30 PM and throughout the week during their prep periods.

That’s a wrap on Bear Lake Middle School Volleyball! 🏐

Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade girls on a great season! Both teams battled through a tough District Tournament and finished 3rd place. We are proud of the effort, improvement, and teamwork these girls showed throughout the season.

We also finished up the year with our Parents vs. Players Night! It was a great way to end the season with a lot of competition, laughs, and fun.

Thank you to our players, coaches, parents, and everyone who supported BLMS Volleyball this season.

Great job, girls! We are proud of you!

🏐🔥 The BLMS gym was HYPE! 🔥🏐

Students vs. Teachers vs. Cheerleaders vs. Football players! Lots of volleyball, lots of laughs, and LOTS of cheering! We’ve never heard our students cheer for the teachers that loud! 😂👏

Such a fun way to bring our Cubs together! 💙🐻
