πŸš’ Firefighter Friday πŸš’

A little look at what we've been up to. πŸ“Έ Last week MFPD hosted a ropes rescue training. Several of our staff spent the week building skills and preparing for technical rescue incidents.

We're proud of our crew's commitment to training and readiness!

Smartphones, tablets and power tools can make life easier, but damaged lithium-ion batteries or improper charging can create a serious fire hazard. This Fire Prevention Week put your charging to the test:

πŸ”Œ Use the charger that came with your device or ones approved by the manufacturer.
⚑ Charge your devices on a hard, flat surface like a table or desk.
πŸ›‘ Stop using your device right away if the battery gets swollen, smells strange or is unusually hot.
πŸ”‹ Unplug your devices once they are fully charged.
πŸ›΄ Charge larger items outside when possible (e-bikes, scooters, power tools).

Stay safe and visit: fpw.org for more info.
