Montvale NJ Recreation Department The Borough has an active year-round community recreation program, administered by a Special Events Committee and Recreation Director Lisa Loranger.

Seasonal programs, events and two summer camps are offered each year. Montvale, NJ is a small borough of approximately 4 square miles ideally situated in the picturesque Pascack Valley of northeastern Bergen County, bordering on New York State. The Borough Recreation Department offers many community events throughout the year with the support of the Special Events Committee such as the “Day in the Park” celebration held in June, a Holiday Tree Lighting in December, an Egg Coloring in April and a Halloween Carnival in October. Recreation also offers seasonal programs to include Adult Volleyball, Girls Volleyball, Tae-Kwon Do, 18+ and 30+ Basketball, Talkin’ Baseball, Yoga, Sewing, Tennis Instruction as well as Summer Camp! The Borough has four parks encompassing 32 acres of land. The parks offer recreational opportunities that include tennis, basketball, football, baseball, roller hockey, softball and soccer and two playgrounds. The Recreation Department is always striving to deliver the best programs to the residents of Montvale. We are always looking for new programs ideas and people to help run them. The purpose of this Facebook group is to share information regarding Montvale Rec programs & services with all Montvale residents.

Thank you to all of those that braved the wind to come out to Fish with a First Responder at Huff Pond! Seasoned pros and first timers fished alongside one another all morning. The catch of the day was a 15" bass by Evan who also happened to catch the most fish! Logan won a tackle box donated by the Montvale PBA and Volunteer Fire Dept.

A special thank you to those that made this day possible:
The volunteers at the Montvale Special Events Committee
Montvale PBA #303
Montvale Volunteer Fire Department
Tri-Boro Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
