In recognition of National CPR Day, take the opportunity to learn skills that could help save a life.

Monument Fire is offering CPR & AED and First Aid certification classes on Saturday, November 7. These are also great courses for teens who babysit or anyone who wants to feel more prepared in an emergency.

CPR & AED (adult, child & infant): 8 a.m to noon,
First Aid: 1–5 p.m.
📍 Fire Station 1 | 18650 Highway 105
💲 $50 per class
✅ Certification is valid for two years.

Sign up for one class or both. If certification is needed for school or employment, please confirm that this course meets your specific requirements.

We may be a bit biased but what a great cause! Come support Landon, part of our MFD family!

Bobby the Blanket Baby stopped by Station 4 for a ride-along and to help our crew demonstrate our Emergency Child Restraints, crash-tested harnesses that keep kids from newborns up to 110 lbs securely strapped to the stretcher in the unlikely event of a collision, so our crew can continue treatment without unbuckling.

👍👍 Bobby gives them two thumbs up. We think. He doesn’t actually have thumbs.

FREE CAR SEAT INSPECTIONS: Did you know Monument Fire District offers car seat checks? Car seats can be confusing! Make an appointment and ensure your seat is installed correctly and your child is secure.

➡️ To schedule, call 719-484-0911 or email Carrie Fuller at [email protected], Monday through Friday, or visit monumentfire.org/car-seats for more information.

We get checkups for our hearts, lungs, and knees. Mental health gets the same attention here.
