First 15 (our 1st 15 minutes of Meet & Great), one round of Bingo (congratulations Hudson), Halloween Ghosts, a good read with Mrs. Sherelle, Bubbles in this Florida sunshine 🥵 and then snacks with Miss Ani… 🫧👻📚☀️

I think it’s safe to say our Tots are ready for a GOOD nap!!! 😴🤣

And if they’re not… the LIBRARY STAFF sure is!!! 🤦🏽‍♀️😂

Story Hour, Fun Hour, Bubble Hour, Happy Hour, Friendship Hour, Family Hour, Library Hour, Best Hour, Memory-Making Hour, OUR Hour, YOUR Hour… 💜🥰

🍂📸 CAPTURING THE MOMENTS, 9/29/2027 📸🍂

Today’s Tiny Tots Storytime wasn’t about getting the “perfect” picture… it was about capturing the perfect moments! ❤️

We started with our favorite part, our “First 15”, “Meet & Greet”, before getting Storytime going!🍁 We Freeze Danced until the music stopped, enjoyed a yummy read of “Pumpkin Spice”, and then got busy creating silly scarecrows! 🌾🎃

And, somewhere in between all of that, we captured the REAL moments… friends squeezed together for a picture, somebody still dancing when everybody else had frozen 🤣, little hands squeezing out all the glue 🤣, scarecrows being uniquely perfected, and our tiniest Tot on the floor doing what tiniest Tots do. 😂🥹❤️

TINY TOTS “STILL” TAKING-OVER TUESDAYS!!! ❤️🎉 September 22nd edition

We had TWO birthdays to celebrate this week! 🥳 Yesterday, September 23rd, our Hudson celebrated his 2nd birthday 🎂❤️, and next week our Camilla will be celebrating the BIG 3! 🎉 Thanks to Camilla and her MiMi for the sweet treats! 🧁🧃

After our first 15 minutes of Meet & Greet, Mrs. Sherelle led the Tots in 2 longgggg rounds of Bingo! 😅😂 Congratulations to our winners, Emily and Miguel! 🎉 Our winners were gifted the sweetest homemade stuffies, donated by a very special person. 🧸❤️

We then gathered together for a good book 📖 before getting those little hands busy with our Fall craft! 🍂 Using bleeding tissue paper, the Tots created the most BEAUTIFUL Fall leaves. Y’all… they came out looking like they had fallen straight from a tree somewhere up North! 🍁🍂😍

Then it was time for the part they had been waiting for… BIRTHDAY TREATS! 🥳🧁

Everything was going just fine until Ms. Iris had the AUDACITY to put birthday cream on the to birthday buddies’ noses. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣🤣

Everybody thought it was hilarious… except the two creamies. 😭😂😂

Well, it was another Tuesday that was taken over by our Tiny Tots and we wouldn’t have it any other way!!! ❤️📚🍂. Glades County Public Library are more than just books… we’re creating community. 💜

TINY TOTS TOOK-OVER last Tuesday, September 15th!!! ❤️🎉

Per usual, our Tiny Tots came in ready for whatever we had under our sleeves! And apparently, we were just there to supervise the library takeover. 😂

Miss Ani interrupted the Meet & Greet to start a couple rounds of Freeze Dancing. 💃🏽🕺🏽 I guess she thought the Tots didn’t know they were supposed to stop dancing when the music cuts off… and apparently, she was RIGHT! 🤣🤣 Some of them just kept right on dancing after the music stopped! 😂 Either way, they got their blood pumping, and it was obvious they were having the time of their lives!!!

After all that moving and grooving, Mrs. Sherelle finally got most 😅 of the Tots settled down for a good read. 📖❤️ Then, she got those little creative hands busy creating the CUTEST Rainbow Clouds! ☁️🌈❤️

So, a little dancing, a good book, some crafting equals a whole lot of fun… just enough good chaos to let us know that Glades County Public Library is more than just books… we’re actually creating community. 💜

Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. The winner will be drawn at the 2026 Ragin' Cajun Feast. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN! 🤩

Tickets will be available for purchase through one of our Glades Education Foundation board members or at the Glades County Public Library before the event. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Ragin' Cajun.

One word to describe our “Tiny Tots Takes-Over Tuesdays Storytime”: JOYFUL!!! 🥰

Our Tiny Tots were so happy to be back together! Sawyer said, “I sure hope Ms. Iris doesn’t have jury duty today!” 😂

We started our day with everyone’s favorite; the first 15 minutes of Meet & Greet as we admired two of our princesses completed birdhouses. They did such a beautiful job! 👑🏠👏🏽

Then, for old times’ sake, Miss Ani took us outside to chase bubbles! 🫧 After all that running, we hydrated and came back inside for two exciting rounds of Bingo with Mrs. Sherelle!

Then, Mrs. Sherelle read us a beautiful butterfly story, and right after we created our own beautiful butterflies. 🦋 Go check them out!

To end our day, Ms. Iris challenged us with a matching and pasting shapes worksheet. She must have forgotten that we are Tiny Einsteins! 😂

It felt so good having our Tiny Tots back together again! 💜

One word to describe our Tiny Tots Tuesday Storytime🤔… PLEASANT!!! ❤️

Our favorite part of Storytime is the first 15 minutes… Meet & Greet! 🥰 Tuesday, we had a bunch of newbies join us, and they fit right in like they had been attending forever. That’s what we LOVE to see… watching our “oldies” welcome our newbies with hugs, holding hands, and making sure everyone feels like they belong. 🥹❤️ Now, that’s the real definition of community. ❤️📚

📚 Miss Ani read “Dinky the Tinysaur”, a story about two siblings who wanted a tiny dinosaur but they wanted it to stay tiny FOREVER! 🦖 They found the perfect little dinosaur, named Dinky, and everything was great until Dinky started GROWING and causing all kinds of problems. 😳 The twins got upset, Dinky ran away, and before long they started missing their Dinky. What do you think happened next? 👀🦖❤️

Then Ms. Iris told us that dinosaurs eat apples. 🙄🍎🦖

We have absolutely NO IDEA where she got that information from, but we just went along with it! 😂 Then, Mrs. Sherelle gave us a bunch of little red squares and some glue, and before we knew it, right in front of us were the biggest, most perfect, red, juicy apples! 🍎❤️ So, do dinosaurs really eat apples?…Or, did she make that up because she really liked the book and really wanted to do the apple craft? 🤔😂🦖🍎

Anyways, another Apple-licious Dino-Mite Tuesday of reading, creating, mingling, and simply enjoying each other.

👋🏽 Welcome Back, TINY TOTS!!! and Welcome, NEW FRIENDS!!! ❤️

Our tiny friends came “BUS”sing through the doors 🚌greeting each other with hugs and smiles. Cutest thing, EVER! 🥹❤️

We started our day off with coloring school buses and then we played 4 rounds of “Happy Shapes Bingo” Congratulations to our winners: Jentry, Della, Grant, and Hollyn!!! 🏆

📚 Poor Miss Ani😅 She tried to bring us all together for a good read, Time for School, Little Blue Truck! 🚌💙 BUT, what were she thinking… a bunch of toddlers, fresh from vacation???!!! Better luck next week, Miss Ani😅😅😅

Then it was time to get our little hands BUSY! ✂️🖍️ Now, that’s a way to slow us down; because we totally dislike messy hands 😂😬 But, on the brighter side, we filled the bus compound with our very own personalized school buses! 🚌. Now, this was absolutely FUN!!! 🥹❤️. We can’t wait to see what those “EXTRA” library ladies have up there sleeves next week😉
