We wanted to take a moment and highlight our Life Enrichment program and the sponsors such as Bell Bank who recognize the importance of free, accessible activities for people with disabilities in our community.

The goal of our Life Enrichment Program is to provide experiences and activities that help the people we support grow their confidence and skills, and live the best life possible. Whether it's going to a major sports game, doing some ice fishing, taking music or craft classes or just enjoying time out in the community, these activities bring joy and meaning to the folks we support, and they wouldn't be possible without our supporters.

Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities!

We had another awesome Designer Purse Bingo night recently at Vic's Bar & Grill! It's so much fun to see people excited and having a blast while showing their support for our mission. We gave away a lot of fantastic purses and scratch off prizes, and we had a large pot for the 50/50 raffle! It was a wonderful evening, and we can't wait until the next one. We don't have a date yet, but you can be sure we'll announce it here!

There's only one thing missing in Ashley's terrific trick-or-treating transformation--the candy! Can you help us out?

We are looking for Halloween candy donations to help us fill buckets at our annual Candy Crawl for the people we support. This event is a way for our clients to get dressed up and do some trick-or-treating in a safe, inclusive environment. To help, you can drop off candy at our main office, 2903 15th St S, Moorhead.

In addition, we also still have tables available for organizations who want to participate in this fun event! You can send us a message for more details.

Today is World Pharmacists Day, and we'd like to take the opportunity to say thank you to Medical Pharmacy Moorhead for being a trusted resource for us for more than 30 years!

The staff at Medical Pharmacy Moorhead know and love the people we support, and they have always gone above and beyond to help our DSPs and other staff understand the medications they administer and answer any questions that come up. The folks we support can sometimes have complicated medical needs, and Medical Pharmacy Moorhead has been a tremendous partner in helping us provide the best care possible at all times.

Thank you to the group of volunteers from Gate City Bank who joined us recently to help us prep supplies for craft activities and our upcoming Candy Crawl as part of the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce Chamber Impact Day!

Chamber Impact Day is an annual event that brings volunteers to local nonprofits, and we were delighted to see our volunteers were from long-time supporter Gate City Bank!

We couldn't do what we do without the help of our community, and we are so grateful when people are so willing to jump in and lend a hand.

As part of DSP Recognition Week, we were honored to present CCRI DSP Kathryn Dalton with her ARRM Cares Rising Star award!

Kathryn is a caregiver who is deaf, and she has shown exceptional professionalism while working with two of our clients who are also deaf. She immediately showed patience, acceptance and grace with these individuals, and both clients have made phenomenal progress toward their personal goals. As a member of the deaf community, Kathryn became a role model for these clients, and she embraced that role to help these clients see how they did not need to be defined by their disability.

The ARRM Cares Awards were created to recognize professionals who represent the top of their field and are committed to quality services. This is a well-deserved honor for Kathryn. Congratulations!
