Yesterday was a busy day in the district! Crews responded to 16 total calls, including multiple vegetation fires, vehicle accidents, and a vehicle fire.

The vehicle fire involved a trailer that was fully engulfed in flames. Fortunately, the truck itself sustained only minor damage, and there were no reported injuries. Thank you to Stockton Fire Department E13 for the assistance!

Over the past few days, our crews have been busy responding to calls which included two separate vehicle fires.

On September 18th at 2106 hours, E15-2 responded to a fully involved vehicle fire on E. McAllen Road. Then, yesterday, September 21st at 1859 hours, E15-1 was in the area when the crew noticed a column of smoke. After investigating, they located a camping trailer heavily involved in fire.

Both fires were quickly extinguished with no reported injuries or exposures.

The District would like to thank the Citizens of the District that submitted comments during the MSR Public Comment period. Your support of the District and the need for accurate data confirmed by the District within the report made a difference. The LAFCO Commissioners have extended the public comment period for 60 days, directing the consultant to work with the Districts to correct inaccurate data and information within the over 600 page Municipal Services Review of Rural Fire Protection in the County.

Earlier today, Brush 15-1 and Strike Team 4202F returned home after a 14-day deployment to the Plaskett Fire in Monterey County.

We’re incredibly thankful for their hard work, dedication, and commitment while serving communities away from home. We’re proud of their efforts and, most importantly, glad to have them safely back home!

Great work, 4202F! πŸ‘πŸ”₯

Today, E15-2 and BC15-1 had the honor of attending β€œA Tribute to Local Heroes: 25th Anniversary of 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony.”

The guest of honor was Marine Sergeant Frank S. Wright, who at 101 years old is a proud World War II veteran. Sergeant Wright served our country in some of the most significant battles of the Pacific, including Guadalcanal, New Georgia, Guam, and Iwo Jima.

It was a privilege to be in the presence of a true American hero and to honor his service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country.

Never Forget. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
